CUSTOMER STRATEGY MANAGER (CSM) 

OVERVIEW: 

Join our rapidly growing Account Management team as a Customer Strategy Manager, where you'll immerse yourself in all aspects of our business. Encouraged to expand your skills beyond your role, you'll manage Quartile's partnerships across Large and Mid-level accounts, taking charge of communication, strategy, and serving as a thought leader. The ideal Customer Strategy Manager is an intelligent, motivated individual who enjoys collaborating with clients to address business challenges. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills are essential. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 3+ years of experience with medium to enterprise-sized businesses OR customer service in a client-facing role. 

  • Proven track record of using data for strategic decision-making, showcasing analytical skills in an ROI-driven industry. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced skills in formulas, vlookups, pivot tables, and familiarity with analytics platforms. 

  • Skilled presenter with the ability to engage and captivate audiences, using data to effectively convey a compelling narrative. 

  • Proactive problem solver with a positive outlook, adept at tackling challenges and devising innovative solutions. 

  • Demonstrated professional assertiveness in managing difficult customer conversations, yielding positive outcomes. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Background in the retail, e-commerce and/or digital marketing industries. 

  • Experience working with digital marketing platforms and channels – Amazon, Google Analytics, Bing, Facebook, etc. 

  • Certification in Google AdWords, Google Analytics, and Amazon PPC. 

  • Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

As a Customer Strategy Manager on our Account Management team, you will:  

  • Maintain direct ownership of 12-20 large and mid-level accounts as an individual contributor, building consultative relationships with clients through strong verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Own client relationships, including managing client expectations and leading weekly, biweekly or monthly meetings. 

  • Act as a strategic collaborator for clients, providing expertise in digital marketing, e-commerce, and retail, with a focus on implementing effective strategies for forecasting, incorporating new features, optimizing client catalogs, and managing budgets. 

  • Analyze key metrics of online marketing campaigns and report findings and insights to clients regularly. 

  • Prepare client performance presentations and forecasts on a monthly/quarterly basis to align Quartile value and client expectations. 

  • Attend product training and roadmap sessions, contributing to discussions on the future of Quartile’s business and product. 

  • Evaluate opportunities to grow Quartile’s partnership with customers, exploring new channel expansion, additional budget, testing opportunities, case studies, etc.
